The pic of the satelite dishes looks like two teams having conversations….:)
Matilde strikes again. Can see it was obviously in the aquarium, where was it taken from? Great shot!
Love the stark grit of the apartment complex taken by Sid – a jolt of reality against the shininess of the nouveau city.
You can almost feel the hundreds of stories, dreams and hopes that have quietly created this frayed patchwork of life.
Agreed Smita. Wandering in Karama on a rainy morning, I walked through this area which visually appears to be the antithesis of everything that Dubai seems to stand for: money, power and glamour.
It epitomizes to me, the other reality, in Dubai, decayed and decrepit yet hopeful.
